Taliban main source of income last decade was al-Qa'ida's funds, taxing and raiding Pakistan, not opium. Don't forget that the most of Taliban are alleged to al-Qa'ida, have taken oaths to avenge Bin Laden, and they are paid directly from al-Qa'ida.
Soviet Union, US led NATO, and other mujahideen were not the only enemies Taliban fought. Pakistan declared war on Taliban and wasn't the only former ally of the Taliban that declared war on them. ISIS declared indepedence from al-Qa'ida, declared war on Taliban and sent troops to Afghanistan to form the ISIS Khorasan.

I think if the world leave Afghanistan to the Afghanis there's big hope that this time will be peace for those unfortunate people.

I love how they mentioned the conquest of Kabul as it it was treacherous. But infact it was the most sophisticated approach in taking their rule back in Kabul, There were no casualties, no threats, Just peaceful.
